Bangkok ⇄ San Francisco

Hi, I'm Calvin.
I build things that matter.

Products, routines, relationships — and lately, a life that feels intentional rather than reactive. Senior PM in fintech by day, tinkerer of AI systems by night, still figuring things out one chapter at a time.

01The story

I'm a Thai-American in my late twenties with roots that live somewhere between Bangkok street food and North American city life. I grew up in a Thai-Chinese family with ties to working-class America, which showed me both privilege and inequality early — and left me feeling like I fit everywhere and nowhere at once.

I studied business at UBC, worked in Canada, and moved back to Thailand just before the pandemic. Since then I've built a career in tech, landing in roles I used to only read about — and my curiosity has bounced through data science, stoicism, Muay Thai, meditation, and biohacking along the way.

Everything changed in late 2024, when I was diagnosed with a rare leukemia (Ph+ CML → ALL blast phase). A year of treatment, a stem cell transplant, and the slow recovery that followed taught me more than any job or book ever could.

Today I'm rebuilding more than my immune system. I'm rebuilding my identity, my values, my ambitions, and the kind of life I actually want to live.

I'm still career-driven and curious — just more intentional, and a bit more patient with myself. I enjoy long runs before the city wakes up, cooking Thai and Italian food, late-night gaming, and showing up for the people I love.

02The work

I'm a Senior Product Manager in fintech and internal tools at EarnIn, working across Bangkok and San Francisco with teams in Care Operations, Compliance, and internal workflows. My work sits at the intersection of people, systems, and messy problems: turning unclear business realities into product direction, creating alignment across time zones, and cutting through noise.

Outside of work I'm exploring AI-driven workflows, agentic systems for SMEs, and micro-SaaS ideas — the scrappy, high-leverage kind of building that small teams do well. One day I'd like to run my own business: small team, clear impact.
